Fiona Wood
I love to create constantly. I can't seem to stick to just one medium or technique. I'm always trying new things. My first love was probably ceramics and I still just love getting my hands dirty with clay and creating beautiful ceramic pieces. I also love mosaics and sometimes combine the two. In recent years I've really loved textile art and in the winter months you will often find me knitting, weaving and producing macramé. I also have a love of painting, mainly florals these days. A few years ago I discovered I love to paint on pots. Let's just say my hands are rarely resting. I love to share my passion for all things creative by running Sunnyside Art House Studio. The home studio, set in a beautiful garden setting, enables me to teach and share my knowledge to children and adults. I am a NDIS provider and love my one on one art classes with students of all abilities. I also have a studio in Tolmie (near Mansfield) where the beautiful bush surrounds inspire my work.
